Why every Gildae profile starts anonymous

Dreamers shouldn't have to choose between a better life and their reputation. Here's how anonymity by default works.

Ask anyone who has tried sugar dating what worried them most, and the answer is rarely the date itself. It's being recognised. A classmate scrolling past your photo. A cousin who happens to be on the same app. A screenshot in a group chat.

That fear keeps a lot of people from something they'd genuinely enjoy. So we built Gildae around one principle: nobody sees who you are until you decide they can.

What an anonymous profile shows

  • An alias you choose, never your legal name.
  • Your age and a broad area, never your exact location.
  • A short bio and what you're looking for in an arrangement.
  • Your photos, blurred.

How an unlock works

Papas and mamas browse these anonymous profiles. When someone catches their eye, they send an unlock request from the Gildae web app, with a short note. You see their verified profile and their note, and you choose: approve, decline or ignore.

Only approved members see your photos and first name, and you can revoke that access at any moment. Every unlocked photo also carries an invisible watermark tied to the viewer, so if a screenshot ever leaves the app, we know where it came from.

Why this matters

Privacy isn't a premium feature here. It's the default, and it's free for every dreamer. How you fund your studies, your travel or your happy life is your business. We just make sure it stays that way.

Gildae is for adults 18+. Arrangements are about relationships, companionship and mentorship, never paid sex.

Your dream is one yes away.

Dreamers join free, forever. Papas and mamas get early verification and a founding badge.
