A privacy checklist for dreamers
Your digital footprint is bigger than you think. Eight small habits that keep your arrangement your business.

- Use photos that aren't on your Instagram or LinkedIn. Reverse image search can find reused photos.
- Pick an alias that has nothing to do with your real name or usernames.
- Upload the contacts you want to avoid so they never see you, even anonymously.
- Keep your phone's notification previews off for dating apps.
- Use a separate email address for dating.
- Don't mention your college, employer or neighbourhood in your bio.
- Approve unlocks slowly. Look at reviews and the note before you say yes.
- Revoke access from anyone you stop seeing. It takes one tap.
If something leaks
Unlocked photos carry an invisible watermark tied to the person who viewed them. If you find your photo somewhere it shouldn't be, report it to safety@gildae.com. We'll identify the source, remove the member and help you with takedown requests.
